A cruise passenger has been airlifted during an emergency evacuation that was held in The Minch Strait (off Skye Island), Sunday night, July 7.
The Stornoway Coastguard helicopter was called to TUI Cruises' Maltese-registered Mein Schiff 5, en route to Kirkwall (Orkney Island), at 7:41 p.m. and medevaced the woman casualty to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, arriving at 10:30 p.m.
The condition of the patient has not been revealed.
