P&O Ferries announced its latest themed mini-cruises for the autumn of 2019. It follows the company’s Eurovision themed cruise route earlier this year. Now, Elvis and Buddy Holly combine for a unique onboard show on November 12, 2019.
The mini-cruise will take passengers “from Memphis to the West End” with Mark Summers (the UK’s number one Elvis tribute) taking the crown as the king of rock & roll.
The company revealed that "the band behind the UK Buddy Holly Story, Buddy and the Blackjacks, will also be on board, taking to the Sunset Showbar Stage to perform hits such as Peggy Sue, That’ll Be the Day and Maybe Baby.” Those fonder of modern-day film musical The Greatest Showman will be able to enjoy a themed cruise to Rotterdam.
The show combines songs from the show with an on board shop and restaurants, making it the complete November 15 package.
Starting with The Greatest Show, Pop Up Entertainment is expected to perform all hits from the film. The Greatest Movies takes passengers on a trip through some of the greatest movies of all time, such as Grease, Dirty Dancing, Moulin Rouge, and A Star Is Born. The Greatest Feeling ends the entertainment with party feel-good classics.
Prices start from GBP 95 per person.
