Princess Cruises announced that 2021 will be brand's longest UK-Europe season ever, to include nearly 500 days cruising from Southampton England on 3 liners - Crown Princess, Grand Princess, Island Princess - or a 9% increase over 2020. The Grand Princess offers the longest-ever period for a UK-homeported cruise ship (April through November 2020).
Princess Cruises’ newest ships, Enchanted Princess and Sky Princess, will additionally be based in southern and northern Europe, bringing the total European cruise days to almost 1,000.
Grand Princess will cruise for 207 days out of Southampton, including 6 school holiday itineraries across the season. The vessel will depart for northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Canada and New England, with a number of new cruises including:
- A 24-day Canada and New England journey to Boston, Bar Harbour, Halifax, Sydney (Nova Scotia), Quebec (overnight), Saguenay, Charlottetown, St Johns (Newfoundland)
- A 6-day school half-term voyage in May to Guernsey (St Peter Port), La Rochelle (for Cognac), Bilbao
- An 8-day Scandinavia cruise to Kristiansand, Aarhus, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Oslo.
