P&O Cruises revealed that it aims to create street food options for families on its newest liner - MS Iona.
Taste 360 is a brand new concept featuring street-food-style dining on the deck. A multi-venue dining piazza named The Quays will offer a variety of restaurants and eateries ranging from an Asian takeaway, US-style dinner, Mediterranean sharing platters, and fish & chips. Guests will be able to try Italian-style gelato at an outlet situated at the top of the vessel’s atrium leading into The Quays.
The previously announced 4-screen cinema complex will be named Ocean Studios with screenings offered throughout the day of family classics and age-appropriate blockbusters.
The 5200-passenger cruise ship is scheduled to enter service out of Southampton UK in May 2020. It will also boast The Club House where families will be able to play games and enjoy game shows; a range of swimming pools; family-friendly shows in Headliners Theatre, and pop-up performances, such as aerial and circus performances, in the SkyDome and Grand Atrium.
The Reef onboard activity program will cater to kids aged 6 months to 12 years while Scene is expected to include the latest gaming technology for the ones aged 13-17. The ship will also offer a night nursery.
The cruise line said that all family-friendly staterooms have been designed to maximize space by day as well as create flexible sleeping arrangements at night.
