Carnival Victory Emitting Thick Black Smoke

Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Victory has been spotted emitting thick black smoke over the weekend.

A video captured the Carnival vessel smoking as it was docked in the Bahamas. The footage is believed to have come from a webcam situated close to Port Nassau Bahamas. The media was shared and it rapidly went viral, attracting numerous comments. The footage shows the cruise liner with clouds of smoke spewing out from its smokestack to the front of the vessel.

At first, the smoke appears to be coming from a Royal Caribbean ship, but it was from Carnival Victory hidden behind and emitting the black clouds. According to Carnival's official statement, the incident involved an adjustment of the ship's boiler, causing smoke from the funnel. The issue was resolved in less than 10 minutes, the smoke quickly dissipated and the liner resumed its normal operations.
