The Mekong River-based new riverboatRV Emerald Harmony was filmed being built from scratch in a time-lapse video. Emerald Harmony is the cruise operator’s 8th Star-Ship, and the first to operate outside Europe.
The new Star Ship is from the fleet of Emerald Waterways in Southeast Asia. The company released its construction to celebrate 1 month until Harmony begins cruises on Mekong River. The modern vessel has been custom designed to sail into the heart of Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City.
The line's 15-day Majestic Mekong river voyage starts with a 3-night hotel stay in Siem Reap prior to joining Emerald Harmony in Prek’kdam. The cruise continues through Cambodia to Kampong Tralach and Phnom Penh and then crosses into Vietnam to visit Long Khanh Island and My Tho (Mekong Delta).
After disembarking the ship, guests can enjoy a 2-night hotel stay in Ho Chi Minh before the flight home.
