Seabourn opens bookings for company's new "Private Air" program (private chartered jet service) on Thursday, August 15. It will allow cruise passengers to travel to departure ports via private jet rather than commercial carriers.
Seabourn revealed that the new service is due to leverage a global network of operators meeting international aviation standards and offer a variety of models and sizes of a private jet. Seabourn will be able to accommodate groups of any size upon request, with jets capable of carrying between 5 and 16 passengers. Pricing varies by aircraft and itinerary.
Seabourn's private jet packages include the cruise fares and are paid for by aircraft rather than a seat.
Private Air packages include access to thousands of airports (private and commercial), valet luggage service, food and drinks (including champagne, caviar, complimentary premium spirits), onboard Wi-Fi, complimentary transfers (to/from home, airports, seaports), next-port protection (up to 1,000 mi).
