Norwegian Cruise Line announced that its latest vessel, Norwegian Encore, had successfully completed a major milestone in her construction when she emerged for the first time from Meyer Werft shipbuilding dock in Papenburg.
The Encore was reported to remain in the shipyard port for her final phase of building, prior to her conveyance up Ems River and to the North Sea at the end of September 2019. At about 1,100 ft long, with a GT of almost 170,000 and a passenger capacity of 3,998, the cruise ship will be delivered to the line on October 30. She will be officially named in Miami Florida on November 21 and will commence 7-day voyages to the Caribbean on November 24.
