The port of Falmouth, England, is about to get busier as 3 luxury cruise ships are scheduled to anchor in the harbour next week.
From one of the largest luxury liners carrying over 1,000 people to smaller luxury vessels containing 5 bars, a restaurant, a cinema, a beauty salon, and a gym, there will be plenty of travellers embarking into the port town.
The calls will happen consecutively in a 3-day period between August 27 (Tuesday) and August 29 (Thursday).
Cruise ships are big business for the area with around 50 luxury ships visiting throughout 2019.
It is estimated that the cruise industry is worth around GBP 5 million to tourism and sees some of the biggest cruise ships in the world visiting, bringing about 20,0000 visitors.
