Royal Caribbean will dial up its adventures in South Florida in fall next year with the debut of Odyssey of the Seas which is expected to become the first Quantum Ultra Class vessel to arrive in North America.
The 27th ship of the cruise line will arrive at her seasonal homeport of Fort Lauderdale in November 2020 to offer 6- and 8-night Caribbean sailings. Odyssey OTS will then go on with her inaugural year in Europe for the summer months of 2021.
Offering more ways to experience the islands of the Western and Southern Caribbean, the RCI liner will be the first Quantum Ultra vessel to call on Aruba and Curacao as part of her 8-night itineraries. Vacationers can explore the rugged landscape of Aruba off-roading in Arikok National Park, as well as discover the narrow streets and beloved architecture of Willemstad, Curacao.
Odyssey’s 6-night itineraries will open the door to swimming with sea turtles in George Town, deep diving in Cozumel, and a day of thrill & chill on Perfect Day at CocoCay, home to the tallest waterslide in North America, Daredevil’s Peak, the helium balloon experience Up, Up & Away that soars up to 450 ft in the air, the Caribbean’s largest freshwater pool, Oasis Lagoon, and the white-sand beaches of The Bahamas.
