Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line cancelled its September 13, 15, 17 and 19 voyages aboard Grand Celebration due to another post-Hurricane Dorian humanitarian crossing, the cruise company announced on Wednesday.
Last week, the liner arrived at homeport Palm Beach Florida with 1100+ Bahamian residents evacuated from Grand Bahama Island because of the hurricane's devastating track over the Bahamas. The second "Bahamas Relief Cruise" of Grand Celebration departed Friday (September 13).
The company remained open for new bookings, kept protect its travel agent commissions and announced that additional humanitarian cruises might follow.
Earlier this week, the country's Ministry of Tourism and Aviation confirmed that 14 of the most commonly visited Bahamian islands remained unaffected by Hurricane Dorian and that the islands Abacos and Grand Bahama suffered most damages.
