Costa Cruises announced that Luminosa ship will sail in South America during the winter of 2020-2021.
From November 2020 through April 2021 the company will be about to count on 3 ships operating in the region: Luminosa is scheduled to support the fleetmates Fascinosa and Pacifica, whose South American positioning has already been announced.
The Costa liners Fascinosa, Luminosa and Pacifica will offer a variety of itineraries to ports in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. The program is on sale since November 2019.
Costa Fascinosa, which is due to leave for South America out of Savona in mid-November 2020, will be homeported in Santos Brazil. The planned voyages are to northern Brazil destinations like Buzios, Ilheus, Ilha Grande, Salvador de Bahia.
Following the Transatlantic crossing (RepositionCruises.com) departing out of Genoa on November 13, 2020, Costa Pacifica's itineraries are mainly to ports in southern Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, including Buenos Aires, Ilhabela, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, Buzios, Ilha Grande.
Luminosa also leaves on roundtrips out of homeport Santos, with 7-night voyages to Buenos Aires, Itajai, Montevideo. The relocation cruise to South America from Europe-Mediterranean (Venice to Santos) starts on November 8, 2020.
