The largest privately-owned cruise ship in the world docked in Belfast, Northern Ireland. MSC Meraviglia visited Northern Ireland's capital city for a 9-hour stop. More than 5,300 passengers from 30+ countries disembarked the liner in Belfast on Thursday, September 26, to explore Ireland's largest city and its surrounding areas, making it the world's largest cruise ship by passenger capacity to ever visit the port. Meraviglia was docked/berthed in Port Belfast between 7 am and 4 pm.
Two years into service (Meraviglia was inaugurated in 2017), the liner's maiden call at Port Belfast was part of the 17-night Transatlantic repositioning crossing (RepositionCruises.com) from Germany to USA.
