MSC Cruises will embark on the most comprehensive passenger ship launch ever and is due to carry out the largest face-to-face engagement with 14,000+ travel agents on MSC Grandiosa. The events will commence in Port St Nazaire (France) when MSC's newest cruise liner officially comes into service on October 31.
Seven "All Stars of the Sea" awards events are due to be held to recognize the achievements of travel agents from around the world, recognizing MSC distribution in over 80 countries. Separate presentations and familiarisation tours will also be given to travel agency managers, proprietors, tour operators, and front-desk staff.
MSC Grandiosa will remain in Hamburg from November 6-10 with the Christening on the evening of November 9. The Blue Port will be transformed into a stage around the Elbphilharmonie. 20 locations in Port Hamburg will become ambassadors of light art, shining with blue light, mixing graphic drawing with industrial harbor light. The dazzling installations will be created by famous international light artist Michael Batz.
Grandiosa starts its regular 7-night Western Mediterranean cruise program on November 23, with 6 embarkation ports (homeports) - Genoa, Civitavecchia-Rome, Palermo, Valletta, Barcelona, Marseille.
