On the evening of October 11, 2019, the naming ceremony for Hanseatic Inspiration, the second of a trio of new Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ expedition cruise ships, was held in the port of Hamburg.

Around 230 guests watched the official naming ceremony of Hapag-Lloyd's bi-lingual expedition vessel from Elbe River.
Capt. Ulf Wolter and his crew left Hamburg on Saturday, October 12, and will arrive in Antwerp on Monday, October 14. Hanseatic Inspiration will start her maiden voyage the same day. Her 15-day route will take the vessel to Tenerife with calls in La Coruna, Lisbon, Casablanca, Madeira.
