Princess Cruises introduced an epic 2021 world voyage. The cruise line announced details of an unprecedented 108-day journey from Australia that will feature a dedicated music playlist.
The record cruise will be the 20th world cruise of Princess from Australia and will see Sea Princess visit 44 destinations in a total of 29 different countries, including 10 new world cruise ports, as the vessel circumnavigates the globe from June through September 2021 roundtrip from Sydney on June 3 (also available roundtrips out of Brisbane - June 5, and Auckland - May 30).
To celebrate the occasion, the company curated a special Spotify playlist “Songs of the Sea” that features 108 songs inspired by the extraordinary 108-day itinerary, including a maiden world cruise call at Liverpool UK, home to The Beatles. Once they book on the cruise, the list will be shared with guests and played on board throughout the voyage, helping to create a remarkable experience.
Sailing north from Australia through the Middle East to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, and then west to Canada and the USA, the new world voyage will visit 6 continents as the ship sails 32,800 nautical miles around the world.
The itinerary includes Princess Cruises’ first-ever visit to Red Bay, Canada as well as 9 other maiden world voyage ports: Nuuk, Elba, Marseille, Malaga, Tangier, Liverpool, Holyhead, Invergordon, and Grand Turk. Other cruise highlights include a record 3 calls to Greenland – one of Princess' highest-rated destinations for world cruises, 9 late-night stays in popular cruise ports and overnights to Dubai, Lima, and New York.
Passengers will also have access to over 20 UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Reykjavik's Thingvellir National Park and Old Quebec in Quebec, a favourite with Princess Cruises’ passengers.
The 2021 winter program of Princess Cruises also includes a popular 35-night roundtrip voyage to Hawaii and Tahiti visiting popular ports from Kauai to Moorea. The sailing departs from Sydney on September 20, 2021.
