Phoenix Reisen’s cruise ship MS Amera (fka Prinsendam) became the first vessel to visit Port Odessa Ukraine in over 2 years. The vessel's arrival on October 30 came 29 months after cruise port's last call in June 2017.
While Port Odessa has welcomed a number of sea-river ships in the last 2 years, Amera is the first foreign cruise ship to visit Ukraine after a period of political instability in the country. MS Amera arrived from Constanta Romania with a total of 750 passengers. They were all disembarked and via 11 buses transported from the dock on a shore excursion around the city.
Amera visited Odessa as part of an 16-day Mediterranean and Black Sea cruise.
