Florida has its first new cruise liner of season 2019 - Norwegian Encore arrived at PortMiami on Friday, November 15.
Owned by NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line, this Breakaway Plus-class vessel is among world's largest (GT 169,000 tons) and will be officially christened by godmother Kelly Clarkson on November 21.
Norwegian Encore has a passenger capacity of 3,998 based on double occupancy. She will begin 7-night Eastern Caribbean itineraries 3 days after the naming, on November 24. In April 2020, the vessel will head to NYC, then tackle the Western Caribbean from Miami in 2020 fall. During spring 2021, NCL will deploy Encore to Alaska for the first time.
