Royal Caribbean’s newest liner - Odyssey of the Seas, is the first Quantum Ultra Class vessel to be homeported in Civitavecchia-Rome. In summer 2021, Odyssey OTS will operate Eastern Mediterranean cruises with longer port stays and overnights in large port cities and beach destinations.
The vessel is scheduled to debut in November 2020, leaving roundtrip from its USA homeport Fort Lauderdale FL to Caribbean destinations (season 2020-2021) prior to continuing the inaugural European season.
Beginning in May 2021, Odyssey OTS will take guests on sun-soaked summer trips in the Eastern Mediterranean on 7-, 9- and 12-night itineraries to the ancient ruins of Mykonos, Santorini, Piraeus-Athens, Kusadasi-Ephesus, Rhodes, Naples, Heraklion (Crete) and Israel (Haifa-Tel Aviv and Ashdod-Jerusalem).
Vacationers will be able to spend up to 15 hours at every port as well as spend 2 full days in Athens (Port Piraeus) and Naples on both 12-night Holy Land and 9-night Greek Isles voyages.
