Cunard announced the line's 2022 World & Exotic Voyage Program, running from January through April and featuring a full World Cruise, in-depth itineraries in Australia and Japan, and a spectacular voyage around Cape Horn.
Cunard's fleet, including flagship liner Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Victoria, will call at a total of 93 destinations in 42 countries, including 5 maiden calls in Brazil, Australia, Japan, and Vanuatu.
In addition, Queen Elizabeth will offer her 2021 Alaska season with 7 roundtrip sailings from Victoria or Vancouver, ranging from 10 to 12 nights each.
2022 marks a special year in the history of the company as it is the 100th Anniversary of Cunard’s first World Cruise when American Express Company chartered the line’s Laconia to sail the first continuous circumnavigation of the world by a passenger ship, following in the path of Magellan’s fleet 400 years previously.
During the last century, World Cruise has become the ultimate travel experience. No other company has taken more cruise passengers on world voyages than Cunard.
In early 2022, Queen Victoria will continue the line’s tradition of world cruising via operating a full westbound World Voyage. She will sail more than 37,600 nautical miles and call at 29 ports in 19 countries.
