Four passengers have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in England on Sunday, February 23, after being evacuated from Diamond Princess in Japan, Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty announced in a statement on Twitter.
The statement from the English chief medical officer said that 4 further patients in England had "tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the UK to thirteen."
The coronavirus was passed on in Diamond Princess and "the patients are being transferred from Arrowe Park to specialist NHS (National Health Service) infection centres.”
