DCL-Disney Cruise Line announced it is returning to some Mediterranean destinations in summer 2021. The family company will return to Greece, along with visiting first-time ports in Sweden and Norway. Returning in summer 2021, DCL's new destinations will serve as ports of call in the grand European tour of Disney Magic, along with the French Riviera and Spain, sailing from May to July. From July to September, the liner will then take passengers to the British Isles, the Baltics, Iceland, the Norwegian fjords, and Northern Europe.
In Greece, Magic will sail 4 special journeys (ranging from 8 to 11 nights) that visit the Cycladic islands Mykonos and Santorini. Kefalonia Island is also included, a first for Disney. One voyage even features a visit to Dubrovnik, the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’. First-time Baltic ports of call for Disney include Visby Sweden and Eidfjord Norway.
2021 will also see Disney Cruises embark on a series of sailings in the Bahamas and Caribbean, ranging from 3- to 9-night sailings. Most itineraries also feature Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
In addition to 7-night eastern and western Caribbean voyages from Port Canaveral FL, Disney Fantasy will embark on various itineraries throughout the summer of 2021, including 6- and 7-night Caribbean sailings, along with an extended 9-night southern Caribbean trip. 3-, 4- and 5-night Bahamian cruises round out Disney Fantasy's summer offerings, all including a call at Castaway Cay.
In 2021, Disney Wonder will also make a grand return to the icy waters of Alaska. Departing from Vancouver BC, the 7-night voyage will visit Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Dawes Glacier. The 9-night Alaskan adventure will call at Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait Point, Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan. A special 5-night cruise will sail to Dawes Glacier and Ketchikan.
