An MSC Cruises vessel that was turned away from 2 different ports due to coronavirus fears is back in Florida. MSC Meraviglia returned to PortMiami following a 7-day roundtrip that was originally supposed to make the first stop in Jamaica.

The liner was denied entry to 2 ports after a crew member on board started exhibiting flu-like symptoms. Passengers were promised a full refund.

After being turned away from Jamaica, Meraviglia was also denied entry to George Town (Cayman Islands). The ship was finally allowed to dock in Cozumel on Friday, February 28. MSC commented that the crew only had the flu and had not visited any Coronavirus-impacted regions in the last 14 days.
