RCCL-Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd announced it is offering a “Cruise With Confidence” plan to all already booked customers, or those thinking about booking a future vacation.
The FCC (Future Cruise Credit) allows travellers to cancel current bookings on any itinerary that embarks through July 31, 2020, from any port for credit on a future cruise. Cancellations must be made by phone and at least 48 hours prior departure. The FCC can be used toward any later voyage that starts through December 31, 2021.
If the new booking price exceeds the FCC value, the customer has to pay the difference. In case the new fare is lower than the FCC value, new credit is to be issued for the remaining balance.
Royal Caribbean recently announced that its vessels would resume cruising on May 12, following the suspension of voyages due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Alaska, Canada and New England sailings are currently set to begin on July 1.
