As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to block the cruise industry, TUI Cruises UK announced further program changes. In March, the company cancelled Marella Cruises' program through March 28 and postponed the launch of TUI River Cruises and its 3 riverboats by cancelling their itineraries until and including May 2, 2020.
However, following the UK Foreign Office (FCO) decision over the weekend to extend its advice against overseas travel for an indefinite period, TUI revised its cruise schedule and additionally cancelled all Marella Cruises up to and including May 31. TUI River Cruises (the ships TUI Maya, TUI Skyla, TUI Isla) start on November 26.
TUI added that it “will continue to amend and adapt timings” in line with UK's Foreign Office guidance on overseas travel. The group also cancelled its beach holiday travel services up to and including May 14.
