Princess Cruises announced a 111-day World Cruise 2022 on the liner Island Princess. The world voyage features 51 destinations, 29 countries, and 6 continents, with 2 roundtrip options – from Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades, Florida) on January 5, 2022, or Los Angeles (San Pedro-Long Beach, California) on January 19, 2022.
The world voyage is expected to cross the equator twice, feature eleven late-night calls including an overnight in Dubai, sail 34,000 nautical miles, and visit a total of 25 UNESCO sites like Jerusalem (from Port Ashdod Israel) and Petra (from Port Aqaba Jordan).
Ports of call include the Panama Canal, Bermuda, Puntarenas, Barcelona, Rome, Monte Carlo, Athens (Piraeus), Suez Canal, Bali, Singapore, Fiordland National Park, Pago Pago, as well as two stops in Hawaii. Late-night calls are offered at destinations including Genoa, Malta, Abu Dhabi, Sydney, Auckland, and Mykonos.
