The French river cruise company CroisiEurope announced that it was looking at a “progressive return to normal” by early July 2020 within the Schengen Area as European directives evolve.

In preparation for restarting passenger shipping, CroisiEurope implemented additional hygiene procedures onboard its vessels. These consist of pre-boarding temperature screenings for all travellers, social distancing measures in public spaces, and reserved seating in restaurants, among other protocols.

CroisiEurope also introduced a coloured bracelet system for groups in the riverboats' bars, lounges and restaurants, and also ashore (on tours/excursions) to ensure social distancing requirements are met.

CroisiEurope introduced a Risk-Free Guarantee, meaning passengers can hold their 2020 cruise departure reservation without a deposit and won't need to pay until 15 days before departure.

It also allows travellers to cancel or change their cruise date up until 16 days prior to their planned departure, with the cruise line waiving any fees. The offer covers all new reservations that are made before June 15, 2020, for departure between August 1-November 30, 2020.

CroisiEurope is also pampering guests with an early booking special offer of 15% off per person, available for 2021 departures.
