Uniworld - one of the world's largest river cruise companies - announced that its preview itinerary collection is coming earlier than previous years due to “a recent upturn in search, bookings and brochure requests as travellers look to plan their 2021 river cruise”.
Uniworld reported a surge in bookings following repeat screenings of its river cruisetour itineraries in Europe (on Danube River) and Asia (Ganges River) on Channel 5’s show "Cruising with Jane McDonald". There had been a spike in daily website visits of ~2000% on the day of the Danube episode, Uniworld revealed.
All European river cruise bookings made before July 31, 2020, receive a 10% Early Booking discount. All bookings made via Uniworld’s Exotics program (China, India, Nile and Mekong) receive a complimentary one-way business class flight upgrade in addition to the 10% discount.
Example Uniworld 2021 itineraries include:
- 8-day Venice and the Gems of Northern Italy aboard SS La Venezia, prices from GBP 2,070 pp, including airport transfers and return flights.
