The small-ship company Variety Cruises introduced its all-year-round French Polynesia operations starting in 2021 with two island-hopping itineraries in Society Islands and Tuamotus.
Leaving roundtrip from homeport Papeete Tahiti, the 49-passenger superyacht Panorama II will sail into spectacular atolls and islands and discover sacred temples, pristine beaches, lagoons, mountain peaks, and uncover French Polynesia’s culture.
- Tahiti and the Pearls of French Polynesia is a 7-night cruise visiting the Society Islands Bora Bora, Huahine and Moorea.
- Tahiti, Society and Tuamotus is a 10-night cruise visiting Makatea, Tetiaroa, Tikehau and Rangiroa.
Currently, departure dates are scheduled from December 2020 through November 2022.
According to Variety Cruises , Panorama 2 is the best small ship to explore the idyllic islands, accessing easily the crystal clear lagoons through passes and taking passengers close to shore.
The company's itinerary programs offer optional shore excursions in most visited islands, many of which are themed on French Polynesia's culture and historic heritage, underwater life and sea vacation experiences - straight from the cruise ship's aft-located Marina (swimming platform).
