The USA's CDC agency began posting comments from the general public on how cruise ships should restart voyages. Since July 24, the CDC has been asking for feedbacks on cruise companies resuming passenger shipping operations.
900+ comments submitted to the federal agency have been currently shared on CDC.gov. Each submission has the submitter's name and comments.
Most of the comments are in favor of cruise ships returning to regular service and suggest new policies to keep passengers safe. Many submitters have also urged a more realistic approach to ship cruises that can't eliminate all risks. Some urged more caution in return. And there are also numerous comments from former cruisers who believe the CDC has overstepped its authority.
