Fred Olsen Cruise Lines announced a new World Cruise aboard its new cruise ship Borealis, with the chance to set sail from either Southampton or Liverpool in January 2022.
The ‘Around the World’ voyage features transits of both the Suez and Panama Canals. It explores America, Hawaii, PNG, New Zealand, and offers a 3-day stay in Sydney.
Departing from Southampton UK for a 101-night voyage on January 6, 2022, Borealis will visit 37 ports of call with fewer sea days in between. Travellers will also have the chance to join in Liverpool on January 4, 2022, for a 105-night journey.
Those who book by October 31, 2020, receive up to GBP 600 per person to spend onboard, as well as the cost of tips covered, with cruises starting from GBP 10,000.
According to Clare Ward, Director of Product and Customer Service at Fred Olsen Cruise, three days in Hawaii would allow ample time to experience the volcanic vistas and learn more about the historic site of Pearl Harbour.
"Sail the scenic fjords of New Zealand; witness the wonder of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia; explore the Lost City of Petra in Jordan and admire the spectacular skylines of the bustling cities of Singapore and Dubai."
Fred Olsen World Cruise itinerary will be split into shorter fly-cruises, ranging from 17 to 84 nights.
The unveiling of the World Voyage follows on from the launch of itineraries aboard Fred Olsen's two new ships, Bolette and Borealis. The two ships have officially joined the fleet in Rosyth Scotland and are scheduled to embark on their maiden cruises in spring 2021.
