Noble Caledonia revealed they had been working on the schedules for the cruise company's Sky-class ships for 2022 and had almost finalized its itinerary plans.
Last week, Noble Caledonia released two new cruises on Hebridean Sky for September-October 2022 focusing on Italy's islands. The "Italy and her Islands" voyage in September is accompanied by guest speaker Captain Peter Hore and provides an opportunity to discover the Italian islands of Sardinia, Sicily and Elba, combined with 2 days on Corsica Island (France).
According to Noble Caledonia, all the islands they will call into are easy to visit individually but difficult to combine in a 9-night itinerary. The islands are popular with picturesque towns, traditional villages and ancient ruins. Passengers will have time on each island to visit the main sites and explore some of the less-visited parts and smaller ports.
“Each day has an enjoyable mix of culture with guided excursions as well as ample time at leisure. The voyage is planned for late summer, the perfect time of year for exploration when the crowds of August have dispersed but the weather is ideal for touring and sightseeing.”
For October 2022 the company has scheduled a couple of departures for their 8-night ‘Circumnavigation of Sicily’ itinerary. Sicily boasts a wealth of treasures and geography which lends itself to exploration by the sea with most points of interest near the coast. From Doric temples to bizarrely styled villas and great Byzantine cathedrals, there is much to discover.
Noble Caledonia planned some late departures from port that afford the chance to enjoy dining ashore or an after-dinner stroll in towns that are particularly atmospheric in the evening.
