NCLH-Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which operates the brands NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, announced an extension of its previous suspension of global passenger shipping operations to include all itineraries planned between November 1-November 30, 2020 for its 3 brands.
“The Company will continue to work in tandem with global government and public health authoritis and its Health Saily Panel expert advisors to take all necessary measures to protect its guests, crew, and the communities visited,” Norwegian said in a statement on Monday, October 5.
Passengers who are currently booked on the cancelled voyages on Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania, or Regent Seven Seas are asked to contact the cruise line or their travel advisor for more information.
The news comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) extended its “no-sail” order through October 31, and days after Carnival Cruise Lines cancelled all of its sailings through the end of the year except for those from Florida ports.
