RCCL-Royal Caribbean Group announced on Tuesday, October 6, that it is extending the suspension of sailings through November 30. Excluded are only cruises out of Hong Kong China.
RCCL Group, which includes RCI-Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises extended the suspension of operations into 2021 for some brands due to the pandemic.
Celebrity Cruises is suspending its full 2020-2021 program in Asia and Australia. Azamara is suspending all sailings until its 2021 Europe season including 2020-2021 summer cruises throughout South America, South Africa, Australia & New Zealand.
The move follows that of CCL-Carnival Cruise Line which suspended all but a few departures from Miami and Port Canaveral through Dec 31, 2020. The third of the world's largest cruise shipping companies - NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line - suspended voyages through November 30.
