Celestyal Cruises announced it will offer complimentary travel insurance with COVID cover for new bookings. The travel insurance will apply to all new bookings made by November 30, 2020, and applicable to sailings between March-June 2021.
Popular for sailing around the Greek Isles and Eastern Mediterranean, the line offers the policy in association with Allianz Global Assistance. It will include coverage of hospitalization/medical expenses, including those associated with the virus, transportation costs to the nearest hospital, travel costs to the next port of call, as well as travel expenses to return home due to illness, and reimbursement for any used portion of the voyage.
For an additional fee, Celestyal'spassengers will be able to upgrade their policy to include cruise cancellation coverage.
Celestyal is expected to resume operations on March 6, 2021, with a 7-night ‘Three Continents’ sailing aboard its new flagship, Celestyal Experience.
After her inaugural voyage, Celestyal Experience will sail a 7-night ‘Idyllic Aegean’ itinerary from April 3, 2021.
For a limited period of time, all-inclusive pricing on the newbuild starts at GBP 519, with a reduced deposit of GBP 159 per stateroom.
