ACL-American Cruise Lines planned its biggest season ever on the Mississippi River for 2021; introducing a pair of new modern riverboats, a new Music Cities itinerary (music-themed voyage) between Nashville TN and Memphis TN, 15 new shore excursions, all-private transportation onshore, and new onboard enrichment programmes.
From late February through December 2021, American’s classic paddle-wheelers and new riverboats will ply the Mighty River from Saint Paul to New Orleans (Port NOLA) delivering exceptional experiences available on the most iconic waterway of the US.
In 2021, American will introduce 2 brand new Mississippi modern river ships, American Jazz and American Melody, which are due to join American’s fleet of paddle-wheelers.
Beginning next summer, American’s new 8-day Music Cities sailings will transport passengers between Memphis and Nashville, along the Mississippi River and its tributaries: the Tennessee, Ohio, Cumberland Rivers, as vacationers relax aboard the new riverboat American Jazz. The cruises will operate throughout July, August and September 2021 with port calls in: Nashville, Clarksville, Dover, Paducah and Memphis, as well as sailing Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake.
Also new for 2021, ACL has added 15+ shore tours and an expanded enrichment program focused on culinary and active explorations onshore and musical entertainment onboard. The company has expanded its shore-side options by adding private transportation aboard new Cruise Coaches, following the riverboats from port to port.
American Cruise Lines is also offering 1-night complimentary Pre-Cruise packages from each Mississippi River departure port, plus new extended pre- and post-cruise packages, and Four Seasons Pre-Cruise Packages in select port cities along the Mississippi and across the USA.
At the end of 2021, American’s 2021 Mississippi offerings culminate with Holiday Cruises, from Thanksgiving to Christmas and New Year Cruises.
