Regent Seven Seas Cruises recently announced they had achieved the largest booking day in the luxury line's 28-year history with the launch of its 2022-2023 Voyage Collection after sales opened at 8:30 a.m. EST on October 21.
Reservations surpassed the company's previous booking day record, set back in April 2018 with the launch of the inaugural season of Seven Seas Splendor, by nearly 40%. All destinations experienced high-interest levels but cruises in Africa, Asia, Northern Europe, and the Mediterranean were notably popular.
The 2022-2023 Voyage Collection launch saw a more than 100% increase in bookings from when Regent's 2021-2022 Voyage Collection went on sale in August last year. The company had surpassed the number of bookings for the launch of the previous year by 10:00 a.m. EST.
The collection of 148 cruises from April 2022 through the end of April 2023, boasts a total of 17 maiden ports of call for Regent and 105 overnights. Travelers will have access to 350+ UNESCO World Heritage Sites across thousands of complimentary shore excursions.
The record bookings day follows Regent Seven Seas' recent record-breaking launch day for the 2023 World Cruise.
