RCI-Royal Caribbean International continues to suspend its sailings for the rest of the year amid the pandemic. RCI's officials said they hoped to resume operations on January 1, 2021.
According to RCI, the move was made after discussions with the members of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). The company is only excluding cruises from Singapore on Quantum of the Seas.
In a statement RCI said:
“At Royal Caribbean International, our guests and crew’s safety and well-being are always our top priorities."
Odyssey of the Seas sailings between November 5, 2020 - April 17, 2021, have also been canceled. Crew members said the construction of Odyssey OTS had not been completed.
The February 14, 2021 Jewel of the Seas sailing has also been canceled.
Anyone impacted by the cancellations can go to the line’s website to apply for FCC (future cruise credit), move to different departure dates, or apply for a refund.
Recently, CCL-Carnival also announced December cruise cancellations on departures from Florida (Port Canaveral and Miami).
