On Saturday, November 28, Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas left MEYER WERFT’s covered building dock II (hall 6).
The 169,000 GT, 347- metre cruise ship then moored at the outfitting pier in the shipyard harbour. Following the manoeuvre, the masts and chimney were lifted onto the liner by crane and installed. Various tests were also carried out.
At the outfitting pier of MEYER WERFT, the interior work on Odyssey of the Seas will be completed during the coming months.
The 5000-passenger cruise vessel will be conveyed down the River Ems in order to complete the technical and nautical sea trials.
