DIV Group announced they had selected its subsidiary company BSM (Brodosplit Ship Management) to deliver Deck, Engine and Hotel Management services for the world's biggest sailing ship - Golden Horizon (fka Flying Clipper).
Led by its Director Mr Tonci Klaric, BSM also manages the DIV Group-owned cruise ships Klara (IMO 9781827, 2019-built), Katina (IMO 9712838, 2015-built) and Monet (IMO 7045803, 1970-built).
Tradewind Voyages UK will charter the vessel and manage the onboard passenger services including Entertainment, Water Sports, Spa, Hotel, Shop, plus the Shore Excursions.
Mr Klaric said his team were looking forward to bringing the Golden Horizon ship into service in April 2021 for training and shakedown and were "excited to then be supporting Tradewind Voyages’ outstanding global itinerary programme."
According to the DIV Group's President Tomislav Debeljak, he was very proud of the work done by Tradewind Voyages in creating the unique product and brand and delighted that DIV Group were able to provide Ship and Hotel Management for Golden Horizon from within DIV Group (shipowner).
Golden Horizon is due to sail on her inaugural cruise from Harwich UK on May 1, 2021, for a series of Northern European cruises before heading East of the Suez Canal from September 2021.
