NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line's ship Norwegian Escape struck a pier while maneuvering for docking in Port Civitavecchia-Rome, Italy on January 4.
There are no injuries among the skeleton crew. The hull damage is minor (~4-m long scratch forward-starboard) and above the waterline.
The reason for the allision remains unknown.
On Friday, January 8, the ship arrived in Port Genoa for repairs at San Giorgio del Porto's shipyard.
