DCL-Disney Cruise Line cancelled all departures scheduled for March 2021. DCL officials sent out correspondence to travel agents explaining the line had shifted its focus to preparing for a return to service following the guidelines issued by the USA's agency CDC.
DCL said it was refining safety protocols and awaiting further technical guidance from the CDC. For impacted customers and travel agents, DCL is reaching out with details of the cancellations and the next steps.
Passengers who paid in full can choose from a full refund (100% monetary) or 125% in FCC (future cruise credit) to be used for a cruise before May 31, 2022.
Travel agencies were informed the FCCs could also be applied as a payment option when booking an online reservation on the Disney Travel Agents site.
Travellers who have not paid in full automatically receive a refund of what they already paid, which will be added to the account used in the purchase.
