After announcing its new health and safety protocol changes for the restart of operations, CCL-Carnival Cruise Line removed the new rules from its website.
Following the influx of questions, the company took down the announced updates and replaced them with basic health requirements issued by the USA's CDC agency.
CCL revealed that the updated protocols had been posted before being approved. More details will be provided over the coming weeks.
Last week, CCL announced the company's new policies would be mandatory for all passengers and had been developed based on directives from health authorities, including the US government and the CDC.
The new protocols include pre-departure COVID tests, facial coverings, temperature checks, social distancing.
