The ultra-luxury cruise line, Seabourn, together with the Government of Greece is currently developing plans to restart operations in the Mediterranean with a series of voyages round-trip from Athens (Piraeus) beginning July 3, 2021.
Seabourn Ovation is scheduled to operate a series of 7-day sailings exploring ports throughout the Greek Isles. The cruises open for booking on April 12.
Passengers will be able to book longer 14-day journeys, which combine individual 7-day trips with different ports of call on each, including Agios Nikolaos, Mykonos Island, Nafplio, and Rhodes, as well as Limassol, Cyprus on one of the itineraries. On the other, passengers have the chance to experience Patmos, Rhodes, Spetses, and Kythira, as well as Paphos, Cyprus.
Each voyage includes a sea day for time onboard enjoying al fresco Earth & Ocean, cooling off with artisanal gelato, or a host of activities available onboard Seabourn Ovation. Seabourn Square is the spot to relax, read or take time to sit and watch the world go by.
Seabourn cruises are open to any passengers that are fully COVID vaccinated meaning a minimum of 14 days after the final dose of the currently approved vaccines being administered. Proof of vaccination and the dates given are required. Approved forms of documentation are to be confirmed closer to time of departure and have to be shown at the cruise terminal before boarding.
Seabourn guests are required to comply with all health protocols that are in place at the time of departure. Passengers should check on travel requirements for both their return home and inbound travel since policies continue to change.
Additional initial preventive health measures under Seabourn's "Travel Safe" programme will also be in place including face mask requirements, physical distancing, capacity controls for indoor venues, health screening questionnaires, enhanced environmental sanitation and HVAC upgrades.
