AIDA Cruises announced it is extending the Canary Islands season aboard AIDAperla into June, offering 3 new dates for booking beginning April 14. The new journeys depart from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on May 15, 22 and 29, 2021, and can also be booked as 14-/21-day voyages.
AIDAperla is currently sailing on 7-day voyages around the Canaries. Due to the regulations for safe travel of the Spanish government, which coincide with the enhanced health and safety protocols of AIDA, many passengers have been able to enjoy relaxing Canary Islands' holidays.
With a testing strategy for passengers and crew already utilized on a number of cruises, it is AIDA’s priority for guests to enjoy their trip safely. The enhanced health & safety protocols include a mandatory PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test before traveling, as well as social distance, hygiene rules, regular health checks, medical care including test capacities onboard, and other measures.
AIDAperla's Mediterranean cruises in the period May 15-June 4, 2021, cannot take place, and the company offers guests to rebook to one of the Canary Islands sailings with AIDAperla or a later cruise from AIDA Cruises' diverse offer.
All AIDAperla passengers whose cruise cannot take place as scheduled will be informed immediately.
With the “AIDA promise,” the company offers passengers more flexibility as well as security in planning. Generous booking options are part of the line’s commitment to its passengers, ranging from small down payments to free rebooking. “AIDA promise” is included in the price for new bookings up to May 31, 2021. It applies to departures up to March 31, 2022.
