The Carnival Corporation-owned ultra-luxury brand Seabourn and the Government of Barbados are developing plans to restart passenger shipping with a second ship through a series of new summer 2021 cruises leaving roundtrip from Bridgetown Barbados (homeport) beginning on July 18.
Seabourn previously announced plans to resume operations in Greece with Seabourn Ovation - starting July 3.
Seabourn Odyssey is scheduled to operate 7-day ex-Barbados itineraries to Southern Caribbean island ports in Antigua (St Johns), Tortola BVI (Road Town), Grenada (St George's), Dominica (Roseau), St Lucia (Castries), St Maarten (Philipsburg), and St Kitts (Basseterre).
Passengers can also choose a 14-day B2B that combines two 7-day itineraries. Previously released itineraries for 2021 fall include additional call ports in St Vincent, Martinique, Guadeloupe.
The series of cruises are open to any passengers that are fully vaccinated against COVID - a minimum of 14 days following the first or second dose of the currently approved vaccines being administered. Proof of vaccination and the dates given are required. Seabourn Cruises' team members will also be vaccinated.
Passengers will have to comply with all health protocols that may be in place at the time of departure. Additional initial preventive health measures under the company’s “Travel Safe” program will also be in place, including face mask requirements, health screening questionnaires, physical distancing, capacity controls for indoor venues, enhanced environmental sanitation, upgraded high-efficiency air filtration in the heating and cooling system.
