Starting summer 2021, solo cruisers joining Lindblad Expeditions in Galapagos will be able to experience one-on-one nature time without single supplement surcharges.
For passengers who book by May 31, the company will waive the solo traveler premium on select departures aboard the 96-passenger National Geographic Endeavour 2. The vessel is due to resume operations with a June 4th departure, while the 48-passenger National Geographic Islander is planning to restart later in the cruise season.
Solo travelers will pay double occupancy rates for solo occupancy in designated cabins and categories. On NatGeo Endeavour 2 the solo supplement is waved only in cabin categories 2 and 3. On NatGeo Islander - only in cabin categories 1 and 2.
Lindblad offers open-seating dining, plenty of group activities, and companionable expedition staff, so guests often compare traveling aboard one of the line’s small ships to sailing aboard a private yacht.
Passengers can choose from a pair of itineraries: a 10-day "immersive Galapagos" itinerary aboard NatGeo Endeavour 2, and a 7-day action-packed "Wild Galapagos Escape" itinerary aboard NatGeo Islander.
Both itineraries offer extraordinary encounters with endemic wildlife, active exploration of the varied islands, wildlife on land and under the sea, and daily options for hikes, kayaking, snorkeling, and paddleboarding.
Rates on the 10-day trip aboard NatGeo Endeavour 2 begin at US$8850, while the 7-day voyage begins at US$5900.
The offer is valid only for new bookings and is subject to availability.
