Princess Cruises announced it is canceling the following sailings:
- California Coast & Mexico cruises on Ruby Princess through August 21
- Caribbean voyages on Caribbean Princess through August 21
- The remaining 2021 Mediterranean season aboard Enchanted Princess.
The company continues its discussion with the United States and Canadian government officials in order to try to preserve a portion of its Alaska 2021 cruise season.
For passengers booked on a canceled sailing, Princess will offer to move vacationers to a choice of an equivalent voyage in 2021 or 2022. The rebooking will have the added benefit of protecting the passengers’ 2021 fare on the replacement cruise. Alternatively, travelers can choose an FCC (future cruise credit) equivalent to 100% of the fare paid plus an additional non-refundable bonus FCC equal to 10% of the fare paid (minimum US$25) or a full refund to the original payment form.
Requests have to be received by June 15 or guests automatically receive the FCC option. The Future Cruise Credits can be used on any sailings cruising by December 31, 2022.
Princess Cruises will protect travel agent commission on bookings paid in full in recognition of the critical role they play in the line’s business and success.
