Bookings opened for Azamara's return to service from August 28, 2021, in Greece.
The Sycamore Partners-owned company has scheduled voyages of 7 nights in duration. There will be a total of 5 B2Bs (back-to-back) Country-Intensive Voyages and 1 Mediterranean cruise aboard the ship Azamara Quest. The program features a total of 18 late-night port stays (in Heraklion Crete, Rhodes Island, Santorini Island) and visits to Mykonos Island and Cyprus (Limassol).
A series of free evening events are available to Azamara passengers from 2021 through to the spring of 2022 on most sailings of 7 nights or longer. A ‘Destination Celebration’ event in Rhodes features violin music while an evening celebrating world-famous Italian operatic tenor, Enrico Caruso, will take place in Sorrento.
Azamara is requiring all passengers and crew members to be fully vaccinated against COVID no later than 14 days prior to departure.
All cruises aboard the ships Azamara Journey and Azamara Pursuit are currently suspended through September 2021. Azamara Quest's voyages through October 2 were also suspended, with the new Country-Intensive journeys replacing them.
Azamara's president Carol Cabezas said:
“We are excited that today marks the day that our guests can begin to plan their highly anticipated vacation and join us in exploring the world again.

“While the world may have changed, Azamara’s commitment to delivering experiences that connect guests to authentic culture remains intact and we are thrilled to bring the destination to life safely on board our ships by introducing Destination Celebrations.”
