Celebrity Cruises announced plans to operate Alaskan voyages in 2021 with the ship Celebrity Summit.
Beginning July 23, the newly-renovated boat has scheduled 7-night roundtrips from Seattle WA. The 9 total departures (through mid-September 2021) also mark the boat's maiden season in Alaska. The program ends with a 16-night Panama Canal cruise (RepositionCruises.com), followed by a Caribbean deployment with 4-5-night roundtrips from PortMiami Florida.
During the 2021 cruises, the vessel will visit some of the most beautiful destinations in Alaska, such as Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, with scenic Endicott Arm Fjord cruising to Dawes Glacier.
All voyages will depart with fully-vaccinated crew. Everyone 16+ years old has to be vaccinated as well. As of August 1, US passengers 12+ must be vaccinated.
All-new 2021 Alaska voyages open for booking on May 25.
Celebrity Summit is now the 6th ship in the Celebrity's fleet with a scheduled return to service.
Beginning June 5, Celebrity Millennium is scheduled to sail from Philipsburg (St Maarten Island, Dutch Antilles) on 7-night Caribbean voyages.
Beginning June 19, the newbuild Celebrity Apex is expected to debut in the Aegean, cruising the Greek Isles from Piraeus-Athens Greece.
Celebrity's 3 boats in the Galapagos (Flora, Xpedition, Xploration) are scheduled to restart on July 4, July 24, and September 18, respectively.
